“I personally recommend word-of-mouth referrals,” says primary care and internal medicine physician Nesochi Okeke-Igbokwe, MD. “Positive feedback from trusted family and friends can be a real driving force.”

 

Check your insurance carrier directory.

“Your plan should provide a list of in-network PCPs,” says Okeke-Igbokwe. “But this process will often require a significant amount of research.”
